Shepherd’s Place exists to offer a time and space for participants to engage and elevate their quality of life, for caregivers to have a time of peace, and finally, for the faithful volunteers to pursue purpose as they offer their time and service to others.

Oletha is a veteran in the healthcare industry. She is a graduate of Faulkner State Community College, where she studied psychology with a minor in sociology. She is a missionary at Ebeneezer Missionary Baptist Church. She has more than 20 years of experience serving the elderly community. Oletha is a 44-year resident of Fairhope, has been happily married for 23 years, and is the mother of seven children. She is a servant at heart and brings the joy of the Lord to Shepherd’s Place with her exuberant personality and infectious smile

Toni is a graduate of St. Cloud State University of Minnesota. She has a Masters Degree in K-8 Language Arts and Music Education. She gives piano lessons, plays for Masses at the Shrine of the Holy Cross Church, and is an active pianist for Shepherd's Place.

Sara is an ERYT 500 with over 500 hours of yoga education and 2,000 teaching hours. She is certified in chair, chair dance, and aqua yoga, and has specialized training in yoga for seniors, neurological conditions, and anatomy. Sara has been teaching yoga for 12 years and enjoys making her classes accessible to students of all abilities. Each week, she leads a range of sessions for diverse groups.
With support from Emily and The Shepherd’s Place Board, Sara brings participants smiles, memories with music, joyful movement, and feelings of love and connection every Monday through Thursday.
Sara ends every session with the Prayer for protection.
